Protein Pick-Me-Up Latte Recipe
Coffee and smoothies, this recipe is the best of both worlds!
I’ve been making this simple hot protein coffee when I want something cozy, creamy, and filling but don’t want a full meal. It’s basically a coffee smoothie hybrid: warm, frothy, and surprisingly satisfying. Think latte vibes, but with protein. It’s especially perfect for cold winter afternoon when you’re feeling a little hungry and sluggish. Using a decaf espresso shot keeps the caffeine low, while the protein helps hold you over until dinner and gives you a gentle energy boost without the crash. The best part? It takes about two minutes and requires no blender. The Recipe

Notes & Tips
- For afternoons: Use decaf espresso for a gentle pick-me-up with minimal caffeine.
- Texture tip: Frothing the protein with hot water first helps prevent clumps and creates a creamy, latte-like consistency.
- Make it richer: Use slightly less water and/or sub in a splash of warm milk for a more concentrated, café-style drink.
