After the first few uses, instead of turning pink as expected, mixing this with water has turned the fluid dark blue. This is not a chemical reaction, but the blending and separating of the colors of the natural ingredients. We use beet root, which gives your drink its pink color, and purple carrots. At first the 2 colors blend to make a pink color, but as the beet settles you'll see more of the purple carrot color. Many customers enjoy watching this natural reaction!
